Most every culture honors and works with dreams, but ours. Dreams are the royal road to the unconscious and 90% of our mind is unconscious. And, the unconscious always wins (Jung). To know your dreams is to know your motivations, your emotions, your memories, your Self in a way that is impossible by any other means.
Group Dreamwork, as developed by Jeremy Taylor and practiced by Tim Anderson, MDiv, is a fascinating and fun practice that enables you to better remember and understand your dreams, your Self, your world.
Each week we look briefly at a dream from each group member and delve deeply into two people's dreams. The dreamer hears from other group members what the dream would mean if it were theirs and discuss their dreams in depth.
This projective practice enables all of us to self-reveal throughout the process and to never fall into the trap of trying to tell anyone (except ourselves) what a dream means. We also do gestalt dream drama and role play, as time allows.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Tim Anderson, MDiv, read Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams at age 13. He studied Dreamwork with Stephen Kaplan and Jeremy Taylor and practiced it at St. George Homes, a Jungian treatment center. He has started and facilitated a number of dream groups, some that have lasted many years.
His dreamwork style was developed by Jeremy Taylor, based on Carl Jung's archetypal psychology. Taylor says: "All dreams come in the service of wholeness and healing. Participants freely project onto each others' dreams, enabling the dreamer to find the meaning the dream is offering, and enabling everyone to understand themselves better."

Tim Anderson, MDiv, is trained in psychotherapy and systemic family therapy and leads very large to small groups of many kinds: Jungian Dreamwork, men's and grief circles, empowerment, governance as well as activist groups. One of his favorite modalities is Breathwork, which he has been facilitating and innovating for over 20 years.
Heike Rodriguez has been leading workshops since 2009, including Paired and Circle Breathwork, Breathworker Training, and Women’s Empowerment. Originally trained in Twelve-Step, Dreamwork and DBT, she curently teaches Female Ejaculation and Transformational Breathwork in Seattle, WA.
